India's acquisition of 75 Swiss-made Pilatus PC-7 Mk II tandem-seat basic trainer aircraft is set to go ahead after the Ministry of Defence (MoD) dismissed a complaint by a rival bidder.
The PC-7 purchase was postponed in late 2011 when Korean Air Industries (KAI) alleged flaws in the selection procedure after its KT-1 trainer was rejected by the Indian Air Force (IAF) following trials that also featured the Hawker-Beechcraft T-6C
