The Malaysian Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed five contracts for munitions, shoulder-launched weapon systems and air-to-air missiles worth a total of MYR357.2 million (USD116.4 million) on 18 April at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) exhibition in Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, Composite Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM) signed a MYR10 million (USD3.26 million) contract with Boeing subsidiary Insitu Pacific for its ScanEagle unmanned aircraft system (UAS), which it will now lease to the Malaysian Armed Forces
