ST Marine wins Omani OPV contest

Singapore Technologies Marine (ST Marine) has emerged as the winner of an international competition to supply four 75 m offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) to the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) under its Project Al-Ofouq programme.

Under a SGD880 million (USD698 million) contract awarded by the Omani Ministry of Defence and announced by the company on 9 April, ST Marine will build the ships to a design based on its proprietary Fearless class
