Luff: UK to spend £150bn on equipment over next decade

The UK will spend about GBP150 billion (USD235 billion) on defence equipment by 2022, according to UK Minister for Defence Equipment, Support and Technology Peter Luff. He told a conference held by Northern Defence Industries near Bristol on 14 March that the UK Ministry of Defence's (MoD's) annual research and technology budget of about GBP400 million may be raised within this spending
