Vietnam inducts three patrol vessels

The Vietnam People's Navy accepted into service three new patrol vessels - two of them built in Russia, the other locally - on 1 March. The 49 m Svetlyak-class patrol craft HQ-264 and HQ-265 were handed over to the navy's 5th Regional Command, which manages operations in the Gulf of Thailand, state-run news agency VietNamNet reported on 2 March
