Two F-16 Fighting Falcons are successfully flying on biofuels in a joint field
service evaluation by the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and the Ohio Air National Guard's 180th
Fighter Wing. Other airframes, including the C-17 Globemaster III, have been
certified for unrestricted use of biofuel in a 50-50 blend with Jet Propellant
8 (JP-8) petroleum, but the testing is the first evaluation of the F-16
